I changed my profession in 2000 when contemporary jewelry became the purpose in my life.
I have been teaching art and jewelry, especially contemporary jewelry, in 2003 – 2012 in my hometown Porvoo, Finland. Before 2000 I was in business where money talks.
I am very privileged to have had the opportunity to work with young creative people and at the same time to do my own jewelry art, which has taken more money than it has given, but my jewelry has generated some success during these years. I like to work on different levels of art. Very often my pieces are not only a mix of material from everyday life, but they are also conceptual and mostly with a surrealistic outcome.
Since 2022 I’m living and working in Denmark.
