Taiwanese female artist with European background, my jewellery underlines my orient/occident crossing cultural perception. The multiple layers of cultural rient/occident crossing cultural perception. The multiple layers of cultural experiences have directly influenced my art practice, such as form, material, technique and thought. To me, jewellery is a language without words. It is the object involves history and culture. It bridges a person from a touch of skin to the rest of the world. Since 2007, I have conducted ceramics in my jewellery projects. I consider the combination of ceramics and jewellery somehow symbolizes the relationship between orient and occident.
